Madonna and Guy are Going Strong

Madonna’s rep Liz Rosenberg recently went on the record to say that the Queen of Pop and her hubby Guy Ritchie are still happily married. Everyone knows not to believe anything until they see proof and Madonna is more than happy to give us that. She and her director husband arrived arm-in-arm at upscale Italian restaurant Harry’s in Mayfair, London on Tuesday. It looks like they’re still spending time together. But again, I need some hard proof first. They could just be doing this for publicity’s sake. There were a lot of momentous events that Guy could have showed up with Madonna but he didn’t yet he chooses to go out to dinner with her on some random night after a lot of rumors came out about the 2 splitting up. Suspicious.

Nicole Scherzinger is Too Hot

Nicole Scherzinger is too hot to handle on the cover of Rap-Up magazine’s December 2007/January 2008 issue. She talks about a lot of things in the accompanying interview including the artists she admires, her ex, who she wants to date and many more.

When asked about who she admires, she said “I think Beyoncé is just amazing. She blows my mind. Gwen Stefani is one-of-a-kind. She’s the epitome of cool. Diana Ross—I wish I could be her. Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, all those people…”

When asked about which celebrity she would want to date, she said “I think one time I was like, ‘Matthew McConaughey is such a hottie and he’s a surfer.’ I used to kinda have a crush on him. Everybody loves that guy from The Notebook [Ryan Gosling]. Every girl watches and is like, ‘That’s gonna be me one day. It’s gonna be my guy.’”

Amy is also said to be determined to make it to the Grammy Awards in February after getting 5 nominations last week.

I’m hoping that’s really the case. But I’m not holding my breath.

Nelly Furtado Secret Wedding?

Ok from surprise nuptials to secret ones. Nelly Furtado was spotted partying at Miami’s Y100 Jingle Ball on Saturday wearing a gold band on her wedding finger.

The engagement between her and Cuban sound engineer Demacio “Demo” Castellon was revealed in July.

A source is quoted as saying: “Nelly was partying backstage with Natasha Bedingfield and Timbaland. She was so happy and there was no missing the gold band on her finger. Natasha took her hand and looked at it and then hugged her and whispered something in her ear. It looked like she was congratulating her.”

All I can say is congratulations Nelly. And who can blame them if they really did do it in secret…not everyone is up for the big celebrity wedding of the Jordan and Peter style.

Justin Timberlake Postpones Tour Dates

Justin Timberlake fans in Sacramento and San Jose will have to wait a bit longer to get “Lovestoned.”Justin’s “FutureSex/LoveShow” concerts scheduled for last night and tomorrow in the California cities have been postponed, due to vocal strain suffered by the “SexyBack” singer.

A rep for Timberlake issued a statement to Access Hollywood assuring fans that the shows will go on…and soon:

“Tour promoter, AEG Live, has rescheduled Justin Timberlake’s concerts in Sacramento and San Jose. The shows were rescheduled following a doctor mandated several day vocal rest prescribed to the artist to repair vocal strain inflicted during his MTV VMA performance and months of rigorous touring.

A Year for Foxy Brown

Foxy Brown has been sentenced to one year in jail for violating her probation. As of right now, she is already serving her sentence on Rikers Island where she’s spent the last two weeks leading up to her trial.

Judge Melissa Jackson slammed Foxy’s pleas for mercy and called her a ‘great actress’ and saying that if this was the first time she’d apologized, she might have been believable. Too bad it wasn’t.

When the VMAs got over and the winners were announced (there were some really bad losers as well, like Kayne West) it was time to party and there were parties all over the town. All we did was watch them hang out with their friends, brag about themselves, drink and party. And we all couldn’t wait to tune in and watch it. For the past few weeks there has been a lot of hype surrounding Spears’ supposed ‘comeback’ performance but let’s just say it was less than mediocre. She was wearing heels that she could barely walk in and her performance consisted of her going from one side of the stage to the other in a jeweled bra and panties lip-syncing. Its sad seeing someone I idolized growing up, completely bomb on stage. There was so much hype surrounding this performance, not only from fans but from fellow celebrities. You would think that she would have done a better job at performing, but she gave up. She’s gained a lot of weight, her dancing was lame and her lip synching was worse than Ashlee Simpson.

The Las Vegas Police Department is on the hunt for Kid Rock after he allegedly decked Tommy Lee at the MTV VMAs.

Details as to how the fight started are still sketchy but an eyewitness said that “Tommy got it pretty bad.” Both musicians were escorted out of the awards by Palms security moments after the scuffle which was caught by a Reuters photographer.
